#androidukbbq is no more (EDIT)

please read this and RT this post instead of the old one that has been deleted.

so some sparks flew tonight between #androidukbbq and #bigandroidbbq. as always these things seem worse than they are.

DevDroidian and i talked, just after it blew out of all proportions.

suffice to say we have both apologised to each other for the things we said on twitter, so for both of us and hopefully the rest of you, this can be an end to the situation.

things were discussed and androidbbq is a trademark which DevDroidian had to ask permission to use. i think that we are both happy with the outcome that has been decided

do not worry though, we will have our very own british event before the year is out. watch out for something soon.

and i hope that DevDroidian will keep in touch with me, as i know i will with him. better things come out of bad things.

Where to hold #androidukbbq

The first thing that has to be decided is where we are going to hold #androidukbbq. Seeing as Android is a community, I think #androidukbbq should be a community effort as well, we should all get a say in it.

So where is it going to be (area of the UK or cities acceptable)?
